Here are some hurried sketches from my Field Notes while I was in Paris, October 2011.
The first one is of art students along a street in Saint-Germain-des-Prés practicing perspective drawing. The second is of the north-eastern tip of Île Saint-Louis from my perch on the bridge rail.
They work better as triggers for a memory than as independent drawings. So don’t include these in the comprehensive retrospective of me unless you give them a little context.
